1 NEW ROUTE TO KRAKOW, 3 NEW WINTER SERVICES TO FARO, GRAN CANARIA & MALTA
Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 airline, today (12 May) launched a new winter base at Bournemouth as well as its 2016 winter schedule, with 1 based aircraft, 1 new route to Krakow and 3 new winter services to Faro, Gran Canaria and Malta, which will deliver over 450,000 customers p.a. (+70,000) and support 335* jobs, as Ryanair grows its Bournemouth traffic by 19%.
Ryanair’s Bournemouth winter 2016 schedule will deliver:
1 based aircraft (year round)
1 new route: Krakow (2 weekly)
3 new winter service: Faro (2 weekly), Gran Canaria (1 weekly) & Malta (2 weekly)
7 routes in total (incl Alicante, Malaga, Tenerife)
450,000 customers p.a. (+19%, up 70,000)
335* “on-site” jobs p.a.
Ryanair is also celebrating 20 years at Bournemouth Airport, where it has carried over 6 million customers since its first flight departed in May 1996.
In Bournemouth, Ryanair’s Director of Route Development, Kate Sherry said:
“We are pleased to launch a new winter base at Bournemouth with one based aircraft, as well as a new twice weekly route to Krakow and 3 new winter services to Faro, Gran Canaria and Malta, as part of our Bournemouth winter schedule which will help deliver over 450,000 customers p.a. and support 335 jobs at Bournemouth Airport, as we grow our traffic 19%.
