Re: Is there a new policy when allocating 'free' seats

There was a very well written post on Pprune recently by a person from within the industry. I have reposted it below with full acknowledgement to Pprune.org: "With experience in ground operations I have never known even Ryanair to do anything so indecent and shambolic as this! They have given no reg...

Re: Is there a new policy when allocating 'free' seats

Whilst Ryanair will say there is not a new policy in my opinion they have definitely changed how they allocate "free" seats. I have been travelling with them, several times a year, to and from Faro for the last 10 years, and have always had seats allocated side by side for my wife and I. This time ...

Re: Is there a new policy when allocating 'free' seats

Here's the clue about seating discussions that have been going on: From http://www.independent.ie/life/travel/t ... 80869.html I read: 'Pre-booked seats cost €2 for rows 6-15 and 18-33, €7 for rows 2 (A,B,C) to 5, and €11 for extra legroom rows 1, 2 (D,E,F) and 16-17. Customers who do not wish to r...

Is there a new policy when allocating 'free' seats

We do not use the option to pay for selecting seats. In the past I have always been able to check in the minute that the system allowed and have always been allocated seats together. For our flight last Monday I was not able to check in until Sunday and we were separated. I assumed that the reason w...

Its not showing up.

Thanks.
I'm not sure what is going on there as it shows OK on my screen and obviously 'ryanadmin' can see it. Maybe it's a browser problem.

Try this:

If that doesn't work get back to me and we'll try something else.

I wonder what MoL would think of this if he knew.

I snapped this in Luxembourg. Bit of a cheek, but certainly caught my eye.

Security personnel strike at Portuguese Airports 13 - 17 May

All security staff are to hold a strike at all Portuguese airports from 13 - 17 May. Local media reports say that we should arrive at the airport three hours earlier than normal. I cannot see the point of this if the checkin desks only open two hours before a flight. The reports also suggest keeping...
