Hi! My most recently RyanAir flight (I fly often for business) was nothing but trouble, also resulted in losing my luggage entirely for weeks on end and finally "finding" it a month after the flight - how does that happen?! Anyway, complaints aside I was given money in compensation and was intrigued if this was taxable either by income or capital gains - I've looked at tax calculators but there's no option for additional income types. It's not a particularly large amount of money and would be a waste of time for the govt to chase after, but I'm just intrigued.
Thanks in advance
