Air traffic control strike Rome 28 May

Post by Harola » 26 May 2017, 10:51

There will be an air traffic controller strike May 28 between 13:00 and 17:00 in Italy.
Does anybody know what Ryanair does in general if your plane is supposed to land in Rome Ciampino at 16:30?
It departs from Eindhoven. Is it likely to be cancelled?
Looking for back up plans if so.

Thanks in advance

Yes indeed. There is a strike planned on May 28th by ATC and Alitalia crew members.
Most probably there will be delays (the plane will take off when ATC are back to work) otherwise the flight may be unfortunately cancelled.
Ryanair will inform you soon I imagine.

Good luck.

Hope that they will not inform us last minute....
