Alghero is a city in the north-west of Sardegna, an Italian island just south of Corse.
The airport is also called "Alghero Fertilia"
Alghero (AHO) is one of the two Ryanair bases in Sardegna, the other being Cagliari, in the south of the island.

A FdS bus from Alghero airport to Alghero (via Fertilia); stops on the right near the old terminal - 20 to 25 minutes - 0,70 euro. Timetables on the airport website. Tickets to be bought at a vending machine in the arrival hall, shown below - not available on board.
